Swam

Swells are an ocean's calling card
They bring the swimmer
Home to cosigned roost

The Mediterranean loan
An hour, perhaps with an extra half
Partly floats and partly avoids boats

Claustrophobia cannot ring
When wide skies are the gulls' wings
Speckling a near-sunset

To say another meal is another option
For the hungry tiny particle
Of salt and brine and hands
