Moderation's dare is a lake over ocean
But unacknowledged goes the bigger emotion
Fairness and freedom may not go as one
'til you've thought about both there's no way to have fun
Sharing the caring and golden rule glee
Bearing and staring will teeth disagree
I's shall be emptied of striving and push
The cost of the slowing and skiving to mush
Pay up the price that demands a supplier
Deadly thinks thrice before taking us higher
Murkier stories that shake until told
While thirstier creatures make deserts too cold
Stare at the ice with a wish to then drink
Don't lift your nose into tremulous stink
Finger your pencil and write what you see
Failing the poem will narrative be
