living like the battleship
in a game of Monopoly
trying to take and destroy
but mostly win

for who doesn't want
all the property?
I'll tell you,
it's a curse to be
winning any game

there's a book
about finite and
infinite games
that makes this point well
and it's not about losing
but rather to keep playing

and I didn't understand
even as I believed
but now I do
