Daymaker

Pieces of warmed and wetted day
swarm together, become clay, 
abetted by ready hands, bring
together hours and the between
minutes congeal, a ceramic
glazed silver bowl, singing the
clouds and blues and yellow
sundust into meaning-being,
a state of upward grace, determined
green photosynthesizer,
eating any amount of light.
