First, cut every word out of the dictionary.
You will need two dictionaries
as the back of each page
has half the pieces.
Arrange definitions
and progenitors
on a large table.
Sort by flavor,
connotation,
part of speech.
Assemble the puzzle
one category at a time
starting with the edges
that might guide pickings
through the solids and blurs
that punctuate every connection.
Love this! Makes me want to try it.
Except I’d need three dictionaries, to keep one whole.
So many words — the “solids and blurs.” Thought-full.

: ) Thank you, Tad. I haven’t tried it yet, my 1964 Random House dictionary would take a longggg time to cut apart…
