Better End

Spurn healing, dyers,
it is the end we must embrace;
to be in it together is to
leave it together
and let things fall apart.

Heart broken? That's my
situation, and I like it that
way. If I were whole,
what would that say
about attention
and remembering
and ears?

Select a day
and be grateful,
make that day
out to:
to
and put that in front
from now
on.

When it's over
it's ending
and rending
may be awful
but it doesn't have to
go on
and on
and on.
