I sugar coated my hands 
to hide the dirt
(actually, it's the stink-juice 
from the long-dead rat carcass
that stuck to the roof
of a canine mouth
and I removed
to appetitive detriment). 
It doesn't count
in the book of I Bled
nor do libraries
carry copies
of the rulers 
or the ruled.
