Suspension Bridged

Tense letting go catches, releases;
Torn mouths fill this overfished pond.

The question makes a quest
From paper tigers
Whose villainy always offers the infirm
Their seat on the bus.

Tendencies look over their shoulds
And often rise on self shoulders
To pause in the blistering sky.

Where were we rowing
Before the bridge came down?
Disconnected odes suggest oars
Develop thematic spiels.

I am sitting on the couch
Watching my mind unfold
In the gray blend
Between text I don't mean
And blanks spaces I can't help but fill.
