Thousands

Quantity eats quality at infinite meals
A focus might hold back deluges
But temporariness is always temporary
Flood-life is a death-start
In cycle and flow
Thus, because, a causal tree grows
Uncountable fires
Axes and bugs
All aligns against
The standing, the green
And yet
Beatified moments
Are monuments
To alive, to strive, to contrive
To ignore the calamitous fracture fission
At work, at play, at home
Nest deconstruction
Can't deny the necessity
Of placing one more twig
Precisely where it must go
