Peace Apiece

Purpose filled whys demand inner denies
Richness seekers can but peddle in lies
Breath cycles are a two-way ride
To calm, to smiles
Brilliant, chrysanthemum virtues
Value blankness and adjectives
While refusing the impulse to comparison
Hard-coded by a culture that needs you
To show up for work, for murder, for disconnection
Have you heard of institutional war?
Competition schools?
How to avoid politics,
When policy and their articulations
Cascade across faces and hands
Shudders can, however,
Become stream tranquility
Burble, churtle, spindling over gentle stones
To say, leave reason at the edge of the forest
And take a great green life
As that which has always been yours
