The Observer Dissect

the watcher cannot help see
a self down the long tube
a reflection, refraction,
bisection distraction

for whose who, who's
the one looked after, for,
beyond the prepositional relationship,

utter a cry utterly baffling to
the causal observer
carrying generous effects
on the winds of unchange
deserted by the ocean, salted
fieldstone homes crumble
while the sun sees

too-carefully set plans
lay in the shade
waiting to come into view

and when they do
these schemes
expect to be taken apart too
