A Watchpost Shade and Stalling

Shiver against the sun's transgressions
Syllabically rail one at a time
It's a failure of hats and the hairy mass

Weeping pillows and pine needs
Scented as they are by the red fire hydrant
Nasal prayers unanswered by the tepid birds
Unwilling to sing for their yellows

Exchange the leaf tinting peeps
For a scraping against rock, thank you for your
Serviceable log protruding from the beginnings
Of something that will surely find its
Way to the sixth or seventh circle

Dante'd pronuncionome
One and then the same
That's how you get music

In the gait of a passerby
Wearing a bicycle as shoes
Going with both eyes on a horizon
That yields at the press of a petal
