an asterisk for the footnote
that you wrote about the author
who has been dead for long enough
to count for something weighty and so
your bibliography includes many 
references to the places someone
else grew up and you are a run-on 
sentence wondering where you'll
meet your period and hoping that you
have a few more ands, ors, buts, and perhaps
commas to keep thing going for another 
several words;
