Lonely, Against Walruses

Who was the lonely person who invented language
to stop people from acting like walruses
spreading out on a beach, shouting about everything
while saying nothing consequential

all the while pressing together
worrying not about clichés nor insult
tusks have so much to say and yet
they are untranslatable

when the body on body on body
was all you needed to hear.
