Gait Slight

When one arm
bends at the elbow
a foot it picked up
but not by anyone

for it's just going 
some place person
thing, platform
consideration, contracted

feeding an urge
surging, splurge
restraint at the peak
sending away the 
possibility 
of a tan(gent);

recall, how did
I get here
as I fall
from one line
to the next
as if the bag
sitting on the stairwell
fell down first one
then the rest
with no way to
arrest.
