Words Too Simple

There are a few words 
that have definitions
that go beyond
the letter space they
take up;
these notions
supposedly balled up
in a compact form
are in fact 
over pressurized
in the sense that they
carry more than their spinal columns
can handle
and buckle under their own weight
seized by the ocean
that lives inside
scattered often by winds
as they cannot cohere
under the conditions of their
making 
and use;
for example love.
