The door that wasn’t a door

How much concern to arrive
at our area of unconcern our place
where calms ride time's wood

horses forested by zero trees for
the bark and trunk and leaf see nothing
when they look in the lake thank you

to the wind for its just enough
rippling blurring the promises
break down the door

the door that could have stayed
peaceful without bend
or hinge or knob
