Profundity’s Rotundity

Circles are perfect circles
the way horses are perfect horses
and rivers perfect rivers

Profound words are profound words
sentenced to be the way they are
until their paragraph ends

Is that the idea of a poem?
To get a fragment across
with the force of a great fragmentation?

I do not know why
poems
are poems
