Disconnection
Tell me another story of why stories have to be a series of connected events. I guess it is a question of tautology. Over-simple words often feel the need to justify their existence by becoming new, and writers are compelled to help.
Disconnection
The being another controversy in the writing. Definitive articles, boring their holes into whatever they happen to hold this time. Eventually, every word carries water for every other. That is what the monkeys are working on in the lab below the Library of Congress. Shakespeare is for those rookie chimps, mixing the post-Socratic sense of wisdomlessness that comes from counting time according to a person. Hence, BCE. And yet, what is so common about the moment that carries an era?
Disconnection
I often think about the other extinctions. These cataclysms are even more comforting than stars deaths and plagues, the former being too far away to properly contemplate, the other being too real for real comfort. Energy and human demises are strong comforts for the living, even so. I just like a nearly clean slate with a few bacteria on it to re-populate in a new image all that was erased.
Disconnection
Big, chunky paragraphs demand to be justified, but I prefer to deny them this rigamarole. Supply side writer, after all. Grow the dictionary and all become richer, what with trickle down language. Those linguistic econs always forget to consider immigration's benefits, though. When French and Chinese grow, so does Spanish, and perhaps even that curmudgeon we are talking. Romance ought to be encouraged is what I am saying. All to love the times before the end of times.
Disconnected
It is the beginning of times, it is the end of times. Let that be the genesis, the truer tailor version. A fit to events, that reminds me of those pesky stories.
Disconnection
Can disconnection be a point of connection? Obviously yes, that is where the tension lies. And tension always lies, it is pathological. And yet, our contingent complex condition, constantly contextual, cornered the market for attention ages ago, between the formation of the planet and the end of the stars.
