Instead 
I sutured my mind
where nothing had 
been broken or
severed. Redundant language
makes poems
sing
and
sing. Make poems
sing. Or, rather,
ask them 
if they
might like
to sing.
Again,
I looked 
away. 
Distracted.
This is the
