Citric Placid Scroll

It takes a bit
of lime to dip
the hand in
grime and

feel the music,
follow the
flowering of
the muck.

Squeeze that
green and lets
its acid sheen
brill you into

bellowing,
my fellow
didactic
pagers.

We can
walk together
to gather
the language

that sticks,
like those
cheatgrasses
to our shoes

and socks
and souls.
