How many eyes 
make a sun?
When two eyes
see many
what sees?

I write a poem
in the open.
It falls off cuff
into laps.

Running laps
is not as serious
as swimming laps.

Naked effort 
takes precedence and chlorine
to expel the theory
the clothes make the hum.

Hums conspire to music
only if pitch scratch
record.
