Nature Time

Afternoons are the place
In between dawn and night
Full of light
Making shade
Into the water
Grapefruit inches
Sticky fingers
Water waves
Water’s plays
Juliet hazel
Romeo mazel
Bardian prompting
Wittiful romping
Nests deconstructed
Stick piles conducted
Nothing does burn
In shady damp mist
Lakeside loosely
Blustery murky
O’clock toward the sky
Apples, my eye
Afternoons are the place
Before dusk and dawn
This sun’s green lawn
Fusing reaction
With desperate inaction
Where desperation is unknown
Consciously blown
Each stick a pole end
Full circle fish lend
Seagull a’carry
Here I shall tarry
