Cockeye Magpie

In the dungeon of the sky
a prisoner garbs. The streaky
raven conspires to contort
its magenta into a polenta
of grazed blur and line.

Magnets reject poles;
they know they can be
broken. Detritus becomes
folds in arms, stippling in
the rifling, bored to breath.
