Gray-Green

Each overwhelms
without the other.

Kudzu and other super-over-growths.
Concrete-adjacent concrete.

It only takes a few blades
between the sidewalk

to make the gray expanse
a home for life.

Evergreen requires rain-spent clouds
the way boulders want moss.
