An orange peeled
in one piece
regales the peeler
with ten thousand
and one tales
of explosive stars
blown down to
a humid place.
Careful hands
enunciate a path
on which attention
secures its fragrant hands
to the fingers' task:
a journey
to enter juice.
Entranced,
pithy nails
let that mealy grail
grout the land
between keratin
and skin.
