To fall off the earth

Even without a shooting star
Walk far enough, slow or fast
And you'll reach escape precocity

Out of orbit, unfixable, beyond reach
It's no longer flight
When there's no ground
Electricity mediumless
Vivrationless sound

Bound to reflection
Stiller than light
Tritely, another aphorism,
But what was uncovered
The edge of the world
