harried can become
productively buried
giving the dirt
its births
more worms
when there are enough worms
they seethe
grand
they say
steer into the skid
i say become
skid marked
be the road
and let the cars
drive over and over
until you get that tread
each speed overhead
turns space and time
into place and rhyme
offering the ongoing
many worm grace
