Stop Lights Out

Bystanders beware:
Red yellow green
Is no longer pedestrian
A shorter cycle

Wheels time in its chair
From the grocery store
Along the highway
Back to this ramshackle home

Under a warm roof
Smiling as it sags
Sage eons pass
As death breathes and drags
