Remembering Those Happy Miles

With an S, it's a shimmer
of approbation. A short
wave that sends a heart
crashing into the upper
sands of the shore,
delighted.

On the former train tracks,
two tubes and two wheels
ride and deride the stride,
for the petaled up and
downs ring four bells
to perceive the light
and sound.
