fast passed sight

An idyll idol, I dwell 
in that sliver past
stuck in my finger
not to be tweezed

The eyes privilege vision
and easily forget: the
nose provides the marble

But this is two dimensions
not yet forgotten, but soon
it is a bookmark
on a page that
won't return
