The Beautiful Immediacy of Poems

Direct to the
point: that's
how you see
the bay mouth
immediately,
from the edge.
There is no
water body
made of straight
lines, for the
blur's assured
by liquid
takings and
leavings. Water
in this way,
is like poetry:
a series of
words eroding
any sense
of linear,
of parallel,
of weight.
