Don’t Go, Didn’t Know

Resist the call
the link
the pull;
let space wriggle next to itself
without breaking
sweat or letters
for the capital R
only has a leading A
when sounded out for seas.
When games become sounds,
ears try to win.
When names become mounds,
tears fly and spin.
Giving in is as good as it is
reprehensible, and syllables
play the leaves
like tea plays
the heat.
