The Sound and the Hurry

The family genesis always looks
seven days ahead, to the rain
and the stars and the land,
the sea and the spars
and the sand.
Grief is only built-in
after its realization, when
death's breath breathes a heavy
sigh, a leavened lie, to interdict
forever from the land of from.
