The trick is to be 
in itself while 
scattering itself
onto the side of 
doors near and 
already scarred.
Piles of self 
may look like
detritus, but
that is an 
unenlightened
perspective;
long words and
a few short ones
can deliver one
self to many 
and burn
the ashes of
tomorrow 
in the fires
of today.
