How much food coloring for this pond?

Given chemistry and leverage
may the lily pads sit on purple
or as the wind blows, orange,
not chemical orange, a stature orange,
like a good natural sunset
hazed up just right
by the city's ambient belch.

Ask and shall's receipt
will say: this was free
as far as free is meaning
and effect carries cause's body
on its back, up the hill;
never set her down.
