Zero Reverence

The opposite of reverence 
is irrelevant.
A faith can go to zero
without becoming a hate.
That's the trick of light:
when it goes out
all that's made
is not bright.
Having once been stated
belief can be crated
and shipped, third class,
wherever going goes --
or it can be taken
down to the river,
let free toward the sea
by water or air.
