Grip wise with the space
for slantwise ascensions
let the wind word in
like the edge's wise hedge

Rows detect columns 
as a matter of
obvious of course
of stacks wise cracked

Against walls, heat
transfers like sounds
giving the next room
the same doom

first cause: wisdom's
catching sight of itself
in steerage, its peerage
