begins at the being stage
where descriptors conscript
an unwilling mind 
to become specific.

As with all comparisons,
starts make ends relate to middles
where the rises stare down fall
with all the autumn yellows
flying from treetops
to wooden, arching feet.

Architecture demands more
than a material pile
as poetry supplies more
than surplus phrases;

each carts components 
to and from the work
and places, with lenses,
angles according to
the weight that can bear itself.
