A couple blocks
several stocks
creeping ownership

Haunt my mind
when engines grind
to surf up faster waves

I never held
a mountain meld
nor did I river down

Our faded mass
became a pass
foundered in our muck

Less a sight
belted light
expected not to glow

In our house
made of sand
those were not my hands
