Bargain, Jim. Then Never Again.

Jim saw it was a bargain
for the basement; there
are many levels further
below bee level. Hum
and buzz cicada between
the sheet rock and the
wetwall. Moss speaks
softly, while mold
utters its purposes
from inside the ear.
When a story starts
a poem, I prefer when
the narrator never circles
back to that sound.
