Dusk in Bunlet Season

Drive slow for these lights
sparkle-eyed children are sure
that baby rabbits will be fur bubbies
for puppy ever

Can't call it cud at this cuteness
level sideway to binty sweet greens
gathered at catrisk
on dogwatch
to survive unto another litterer

Teach the vestigial
to urban and less than city civil
for no bun is required
to fuel or burn or buy
and as a matter of tiny eyes
neither am I
