The House of Trees for Forest

It's a simple desire.
A society of friends and neighbors and family,
who provide in case of loss,
who develop in cases of curiosity,
who care and care and care,
who watch and listen and care,
who share,
who cultivate,
who feed,
who collect resources against hard times,
who defend,
who live and die together.

So, why not?
Individualism,
one person in a car,
two people in a house,
tax codes,
investment policies,
politics,
religion,
culture,
distance,
preferences.

And yet,
it might be,
with a little push,
an ongoing pull,
several structures
real and imaginary,
to have this smaller than country-
freer than theology-
bigger than family-
more loyal than company-
House of Trees for Forest.
