The Meaning of This

What is it 
that a person is doing
with words?
Are these little curds
the inevitable results 
of milk?
I am not sure.
I do not expect
to become sure.
The cure is to cure
the expectation 
of sure.
What about love?
I love certainty.
I want to love
certainly.
In every sense
of that adverb's
certain means.
I will go
to the grocery store.
I will let this love poem
become a poem about 
stomach cancer
and my dad.
Am I a dad now?
I cannot bring myself
to capitalize that yet.
I will leave it up
to my son.
