You know what I’d like to do?

I want to understand gambling
better. How making little bets
and having a few of them pay
off makes electricity flow the
way two beers before the sun
goes down rolls a mind side to
side, like a boat in an appropriate
sea. Is it necessary for a flourishing
life, risk? Does the not knowing and
the trying mix together to make
happy crying? I don't know. I 
need to understand not
gambling better to be
able to say.
