Coffee Broke

The beans
I should say seeds
are more expensive now

Conditions are unripe
for breaking the habit
even as it breaks the bank

Trite lights orange me down
as I darken 
caught looking in

The smile rides a few more miles
on the back
of this Guatemalan horse

pronounces objects objectionable 
until they are repossessed

That's a caffeinated reason
for ownership treason
