Help me learn

to love writing to the point
where I can work for it. 
I want to submit 
to strings of words.
I cannot yet take this sentence 
sufficiently seriously
as you can see 
by those saccharine adverbs.
I want to be serious;
I am not a serious
person,
though I have been known 
to use semi
colons. 
Will you be my manager,
writing?
I am sort of
asking. 
Will you tell me
what to do?
Will you determine
my fate?
I do not know
if I will let you. 
But I think
I'm asking.
