Plenipotentiary

Power is like water:
always pulled from
the sky toward the
core. The ground is
a euphemism for a
pause in the activity
of potency, a spate
of potentate abate,
meant to develop
the false sense of
inferiority felt by
underground streams
for rivers and lakes
and seas. Without
light, potential fears
that its reason for
being has been
extinguished
in a plentiful
crowd of same.
