Call me derrick.
I've got the source tapped
and the tanks capped.
There's always four score
in this loaded store.
While some dream of gasoline,
I am a surveyor,
sending submarines
to promising deeper holes.
My oil reserves
are my resource curse,
churning verse without
that crucial concentration
preceding the pump
and tank.
