Finding Without Finding

Searchers in it for the looking
read for the books
not knowing to know
hook, not going to catch.

Spring a spring,
softly, to keep from using up
the potential energy
whose repeated kinesis 
stimulates a mind as a brain.

Awareness must not try
for awareness. Open eyes
unclasp the lashes, 
not to be open
to open.
